Description

This is a mid-18th century house with alterations from the 19th century, accompanied by a two-bay outbuilding. The house is constructed of red sandstone rubble with flush quoins, and has a graduated Welsh slate roof with rebuilt chimney stacks at the ends. It is two storeys high and has three bays. A top-glazed six-panel door is set within a 19th-century stone surround, which has a moulded cornice. The windows are sash windows, with glazing bars; the lower sashes on the ground floor are two-paned, and all are set within plain 19th-century surrounds. The outbuilding, under the same roofline, includes a 20th-century panelled door in a plain stone surround, a ground-floor two-pane sash window, and an upper sash window with glazing bars, both within 19th-century surrounds. Further additions to the outbuilding include 20th-century double garage doors with slit vents above.
