Description

The building is a house and post office dating from the early 18th century. It features incised stucco walls set on a chamfered plinth with pilastered quoins. The roof is made of red sandstone slate, and there are ashlar chimney stacks on stucco bases. The structure is two storeys high and has five bays. The entrance includes a 4-panel top glazed 19th-century door with a fanlight, framed by a pilastered surround and a prostyle porch supported by square pilastered columns with a flat roof. The ground floor has 2-pane double sash windows, while the upper floor features sash windows with glazing bars, all surrounded by plain painted stone.
