Description
15 Queen Street is a mid-19th century shop and flats building located in Ulverston. It features a stucco exterior with a corrugated asbestos roof, standing three storeys high with two bays. The facade includes a storey band between the ground and first floors, a sill band on the second floor, and a bracketed cornice gutter. The ground floor is rusticated, featuring a yard entrance on the left with a segmental arch, flanked by two shop windows and a central round-arched doorway. The upper storey windows are wide and have mid-20th century timber casements. The first-floor windows are framed with architraves that are taller than the window openings, while the second-floor windows have plain reveals, with the right-hand window featuring a central mullion. The left-hand window is lower and interrupts the sill band. A chimney is located on the right-hand gable.
