Description
The King's Head Public House is a building that serves as a public house, likely dating from the mid-19th century, with some elements from the 18th century. It features painted scored render, a slate roof, and a brick chimney. The structure has been altered and has a three-room plan. The main section of the building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows have plain reveals and projecting painted sills. The ground-floor windows are modern casements with glazing bars, while the first-floor windows are sashed. There is a cart entrance in the left-hand bay with boarded doors and a timber lintel. The doorway between the second and third bays has a segmental head and is accessed by two steps. To the right of the first bay, there is a tall chimney. The right side of the building features an additional bay that is three storeys tall and was formerly a separate building. This bay has wide window openings with plain reveals, projecting sills, and casements with glazing bars, although the ground-floor window opening has been altered in the 20th century. The gables of this section rise above the adjacent buildings and have chimneys.
