Description
Curwen and Co. Solicitors is a house that has been converted into a solicitor's office, dating from the late 18th century. The building features painted roughcast walls and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof, which includes roughcast chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high with an attic and consists of four bays. The façade includes a panelled door and sash windows with glazing bars, all set within painted stone surrounds. There is a blocked segmental-headed doorway on the left side. The two bays on the right have an attic. At the rear, there is a bowed staircase window with glazing bars. The right return wall is part of No. 7 Portland Street, but the entire structure is now considered one property.
