Description

19 Hampshire Terrace is a house that has been converted into a solicitors' office. It is part of a terrace built around 1820-1830, which has undergone significant alterations. The building is made of yellow stock brick laid in Flemish bond, with a concealed roof. It has three storeys and a basement, featuring one wide bay. Access is via five steps leading to a four-panelled door with a fanlight, which is set within a stucco-moulded round arch supported by imposts. To the right, there is an altered two-storey canted bay window that extends to the ground and first floors, featuring a central sash window flanked by narrow sashes, along with a frieze and cornice. The second floor has one sash window set beneath a rendered flat arch, with a brick dentil band and a coped parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
