Description

A terrace of early 19th century cottages is located on the west side of Kirkgate. The terrace comprises eleven cottages, two storeys high, with roughcast walls and pantile or slate roofs. Each cottage features a doorway topped with a simple cornice supported by brackets, and one or two sash windows on each floor. Nos. 78 to 86, together with Nos. 13, 17 to 25 (odd), 31 to 55 (odd), 38, 46 to 86 (even), Nos. 47A and Kirkgate House form a group.
