Hall Guards And Adjoining Barn

Hall Guards and the adjoining barn are a farmhouse and barn dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of whitewashed rubble and features a Welsh slate roof with end brick chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, with the barn located to the left under a common roof. There is a 20th-century door set in a painted quoined surround. The farmhouse has sash windows with glazing bars, framed by plain painted stone surrounds, and original small blocked fire windows on both floors to the left. The barn features plank doors in quoined surrounds and a loft door in a plain surround, along with two-pane sash windows nearest to the farmhouse. A single-storey extension to the left and outbuildings are not included in the listing.
