Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18, with mid C19 alterations. Calciferous sandstone (from the nearby Roman Wall), raised in C19; C19 graduated green slate roof with stepped gables, yellow brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C19 gabled porch has plank door in pointed arch. 2-light chamfered mullioned windows, those on ground floor are probably C19 replacements. Single-storey C19 extension to right has Welsh slate roof. Listing excludes outbuildings.
