Description

Northrigghill is a farmhouse dating to 1836. It has whitewashed rendered walls with calciferous sandstone side walls and raised, painted quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with green slate, and tall cream brick chimney stacks stand on stone bases. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The front features a 6-panelled door with a glazed upper section, set within a quoined surround and keyed entablature. Sash windows with glazing bars are contained within plain painted stone surrounds. The listing excludes the farm outbuildings.
