Description
Denton House is a house from the early 19th century, built of calciferous sandstone ashlar on a rusticated plinth, with rusticated quoins. It features a hipped Welsh slate roof and brick chimney stacks on stone bases. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. A projecting gabled stone porch includes a four-panel door with a moulded surround that has a pointed arch and a hood mould. The ground floor has three-pane sash windows, while the upper floor features sash windows with glazing bars, all of which have hood moulds and rusticated surrounds. A 20th-century extension to the right is not included in the listing.
