Description
The barns and former cottage, located east of Brunstock Farm, are a detached structure that is part of the farm complex, built after 1827 for the Saul family. The former cottage features brick walls that have been whitewashed, a graduated slate roof, and double square angled chimney stacks on square brick bases with coped gables. It is a single-storey building with two bays. The entrance has been replaced by a 20th-century sliding metal door, which is flanked by two-light chamfered mullioned windows with diamond cast-iron casements. There are single-storey storage buildings to the left and right of the cottage, which have undergone significant alterations, but the overall farmyard remains intact, with adjoining barns to the left arranged in a U-shape. The barns have whitewashed brick walls, plank doors, slit vents, and graduated slate roofs.
