Description
Clematis Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features whitewashed sandstone rubble walls, wooden bargeboards, and a thatched roof that is covered with corrugated iron sheets. The building has brick chimney stacks and is a single storey with two bays, likely formed from the conversion of two cottages into one, as indicated by a brick-filled entrance and window. The cottage has Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars and a plank door.
