Description

This is a terrace of houses located on Gote Road. The houses date from the 18th century, and are situated alongside Nos 5-9 in a continuous terrace. The exterior is roughcast with a decorative band and pilasters, topped with slate roofs. The houses are two storeys high and feature mostly 12-paned sash windows, although some have been modernised. A rear wing of No. 19 has been converted into a cottage (No. 19A) in the late 20th century. This cottage features a gable porch and plain sash windows with flush ashlar surrounds. The houses form a group with Nos 21-27 (odd) and Derwent Bridge House.
