Description

This is a terrace of six houses numbered 14 to 20, built in the late 18th or early 19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick with a slate roof and gabled ends, and feature brick dentil eaves. The buildings are three storeys high and have six windows each. The windows are sash windows with flat brick arches, although the glazing bars have been lost from No. 18. Windows at Nos. 16 and 18 have been replaced with modern casements.

The ground floors have been altered with Victorian shop fronts. No. 14 has a shop front with a canted window, carved consoles, and a modern fascia. No. 18's shop front includes a blind case and, to the right, a good early 19th-century small bowed window with fluted pilasters. No. 20 has a small late 19th-century canted shop window. No. 16 has a more modern shop front with a high fascia.

The terrace forms a group with the adjoining buildings at Nos. 12 to 30.
