Description

No. 13 The Homend is an early 19th-century building featuring a front made of limewashed brick and a slate roof with gable ends. It stands three storeys tall and has one window, which consists of sashes with margin lights and glazing bars set in segmental-headed openings that include keyblocks. The building also has a Victorian shop front characterized by pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. To the right, there is a round-headed passageway with a keyblock. At the rear, there is an early 17th-century timber-framed wing. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 21 (odd) The Homend and Nos 1 to 5 (consecutive) Church Street.
