Description

The Homend, numbers 17 and 19, is an 18th-century building constructed of large, red brick with a parapet and a moulded stone cornice featuring brick dentils. It is three storeys high and has five windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, flat arches with keyblocks, and cills. Number 17 originally had a Victorian shop with a canted window and hood supported by shaped brackets. This has been replaced with a modern bowed shop at number 19. Numbers 1 to 21 (the odd numbers) form a group with numbers 1 to 5 on Church Street.
