Description

Barclays Bank is an early 18th-century building of brick construction, originally with an old tile hipped roof. It is two storeys high with an attic and features three windows. The windows are tall sashes with glazing bars set in moulded surrounds, topped with segmental brick heads. A modern brick front, projecting at ground floor level, has been added. An old gabled dormer is also present. Inside, the building contains an early 18th-century staircase with a moulded string and turned balusters. The building forms a group with numbers 12 to 30 (even).
