Description

34 The Homend is a building from the early 18th century, featuring a front with earlier timber framing visible on the rear wing. The exterior is made of painted brick, topped with a tiled roof that has gabled ends. The building has brick dentil eaves and stands two storeys tall, with three windows across the front, although the centre window is blocked. On the first floor, there are two modern horizontal-hung windows, while the ground floor has been converted into a modern shop. The building also includes two modern gabled dormers and a modern wing at the rear. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 34 to 60 (even) and Nos 64 to 74 (even).
