Description

Abbey Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the east side of The Homend. It features a stuccoed exterior and has a modern tiled roof with gable ends. The cottage is two storeys high and is one window wide, showcasing 16-pane sash windows set in moulded cases. The entrance consists of a flush panelled door topped with a pediment supported by shaped brackets. Abbey Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 33 to 37, known as the Horseshoe Inn, as well as Nos 67, 71, and 73, with No 71 being a building of local interest.
