Description
The gate piers and joining wall to the south of Milton Lodge date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from calciferous sandstone ashlar and feature wrought iron railings. The structure includes four octagonal piers topped with battlemented capitals, which are connected by a serpentine-shaped wall that has 20th-century railings and a 20th-century iron gate. This structure is included for its group value.
