Description
Cumcatch is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with alterations and additions made to the rear in the late 19th century. The building features rendered and limewashed walls with stone dressings, a graduated Welsh slate roof, and yellow brick chimney stacks set on stone bases. It stands two storeys high and has five bays. The former entrance is now covered by a late 19th-century red sandstone porch, which has a hipped slate roof and a shaped-head side entrance, featuring a 19th-century plank door. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by painted stone surrounds. The listing does not include the adjoining farm buildings, except for a separately listed byre to the northeast.
