Description

The gates and piers of Milton Lodge, dating from the early 19th century with gates from around 1900, are constructed from pennant rubble and ashlar, featuring steel gates. There are two piers with coach bollards and two Art Nouveau-style gates that display shield and ribbon decoration. The tall screen wall includes a lancet doorway on the left, with "LODGE" cut into the right impost, and a diagonal panelled door. The paving to the kerb is made of pennant flags.
