Description
Park Road House is a late 18th-century house located on the west side of Park Road in Stapleton, Bristol. The building is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings and features a hipped pantile roof with a brick end stack. It has a double-depth plan and is designed in the late Georgian style. The house stands three storeys high and has a symmetrical front with a three-window range.
Notable architectural features include rusticated quoin strips and a coped parapet. The entrance consists of a semicircular-arched doorway with a fanlight, set beneath a shallow open pediment supported by consoles, and it includes a four-panel door. The windows are adorned with five stepped voussoirs above 6/6-pane sashes, with 3/6-pane sashes on the first floor, and small brackets supporting the cills.
The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to include shutters with two fielded panels.
