Description
Floshfield and the adjoining barn are a farmhouse and barn built in the early 18th century. The farmhouse features whitewashed roughcast walls and a graduated Welsh slate roof, with the bottom courses made of sandstone slates. It has two storeys and four bays, with a single-bay barn extension to the left under a common roof and an adjoining single-storey barn at right angles. The entrance has a plank door set in a bolection architrave beneath a cornice. Sash windows with glazing bars are framed in painted stone surrounds, with those to the left of the entrance also under cornices. The adjoining barn is constructed of whitewashed sandstone rubble and has a corrugated asbestos roof. It features a central cart entrance with an alternate-block surround, an additional entrance to the right, and a casement window with a small square window to the left.
