Description
Laund House Farmhouse is a farmhouse and adjoining barn built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features ashlar, coursed squared stone, and a graduated stone slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high with three bays. The entrance on the left side of the right-hand bay has a half-glazed door with a 20th-century hipped roof porch. To the left of the left-hand bay is a board door. The right-hand bay includes a three-light flat-faced mullioned window, while the central bay has a similar window with two lights. The left bay has a sixteen-pane sash window, with similar windows arranged above. The adjoining barn to the left is L-shaped, with a gabled left-hand bay. In the centre of the right-hand bays, there is a board wagon door set below an elliptical arch with voussoirs. To the left, there is a board stable door with a 20th-century casement window to the right. The bays of the barn feature ashlar cross-shaped breathers.
