Description
Town End Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar and rubblestone with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring quoins. On the left side, there is a half-glazed door set in a chamfered surround, and to the left of the central bay, there is a boarded door also in a chamfered surround. The left-hand bay contains a 17th-century three-light double-chamfered mullion window. The central and right-hand bays have 19th-century chamfered mullioned windows, with the central window having four lights and the right-hand window having two lights. On the first floor, the left-hand bay features a two-light 19th-century chamfered mullioned window, while the other bays have 17th-century three-light chamfered mullioned windows. The chimney stacks are diagonally set, with one shaft at the left end and two shafts at the right end and ridge.
