Description
The stables and threshing barn at Bolton Park Farm date from the late 18th century and are constructed from coursed rubblestone with a graduated stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays, with a lower two-bay wing extending at right angles to the right-hand side. The stables feature two board doors and three openings fitted with 20th-century casements. To the right, there is an external staircase leading to the threshing barn. The lower wing on the right has a central board door and openings on either side with 20th-century casements. There are pigeon openings in the gable, and at the top of the staircase, there is another board door. Just below the eaves, there are four cross-shaped ventilation holes. The rear of the barn is built into a hill, which results in a large board door on the first floor. This building is included for its group value only.
