Description

Eden Brow Park Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage, originally known as Park Cottage. The building is constructed of red sandstone rubble with a steeply pitched stone-slate roof, the latter being a later addition since 1947. It has stone chimney stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays. A C20 gabled stone porch with a stone-slate roof is present at the front. C20 steel-framed casements are set within C20 surrounds. The rear of the cottage has C20 plastic casements; stone mullions that were previously present have been removed. The building has undergone extensive alterations in the 20th century, but retains group value with Froddle Crook.
