Description
Froddle Crook is a cottage dated 1746, featuring the initials J.S on the lintel. It has red sandstone rubble walls and a steeply pitched stone-slate roof, along with dressed stone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a recessed single bay extension to the left that shares the same roof. There are two entrances, each with plank doors and plain stone surrounds, one of which has an inscribed lintel. The cottage has 20th-century casements with glazing bars set in the original window openings.
