Midtown Farmhouse

Midtown Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located in Burgh by Sands. It features painted stucco on a chamfered plinth and has painted V-jointed quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate, with coped gables and kneelers, and there are cement rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has five bays, with a single-bay extension from the 19th century on the left side that has a lower roof line. The entrance includes a four-panel top-glazed door with sidelights, set within a tetrastyle Doric porch supported by square and round columns. The windows are two-pane sash windows with glazing bars, framed by painted architraves.
