Description
The Greyhound Inn is a public house that was originally built as a house in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features painted stucco on a chamfered plinth and has raised V-jointed painted quoins. The roof is made of Welsh slate, with coped gables and kneelers, and there are painted rendered chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The entrance consists of a 20th-century door set in a moulded surround with a round arch, keystone, and impost blocks. Flanking the door are 20th-century three-light casement windows with glazing bars, and similar windows are located above. There is a central casement window with glazing bars, all framed in painted architraves. A 20th-century name sign is positioned between the floors. The Greyhound Inn was taken over by the Central Control Board in 1916 and returned to private ownership in 1973.
