Description

The garden wall located south of Burgh House and Fulwood House is a late 18th-century structure. It is a low brick wall topped with rounded sandstone coping, set on a chamfered stone plinth. The wall features serpentine curves leading to two entrances on either side. There are two pairs of square gate piers made of V-jointed ashlar, each with moulded caps and ball finials. This wall is included partly for its group value with Burgh House and Fulwood House.
