Description

The wall and gateposts in front of Mains Farmhouse date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of painted snecked ashlar and feature V-jointed quoins. The low wall is complemented by square pilastered gateposts and end piers, which are topped with pineapple finials, creating the front boundary of the garden. This structure is listed partly for its group value with Mains Farmhouse.
