Description

Burnfoot House, dating from the early 19th century, is a house that has been divided into two flats. It features snecked painted ashlar with raised painted quoins set on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate, and there are painted ashlar chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with a lower two-storey single-bay recessed extension to the left. The main entrance has a panelled door beneath a glazed fanlight, framed by an open-pedimented Tuscan doorcase. The windows are sash with glazing bars, set in painted stone surrounds, while the extension has tripartite casement windows.
