Description

Two houses stand on Manor Road, Lamport. Built in 1820 and restored in 1952, they are constructed of lias ashlar with a slate roof. Originally designed as two separate houses, each with a two-unit plan and two storeys, they now present a four-window facade. The windows, which are 20th-century casements, are set within original openings under flat arches featuring keyblocks. Similarly, two 20th-century doors are positioned between window ranges in original openings, accompanied by side lights and flat arches with keyblocks. Brick stacks are located at the ridge and end of the building. A datestone is visible at first-floor level, positioned between the houses under a flat arch. The interiors remain uninspected. These houses are included on the list for their group value alongside The School House.
