Description
59 and 60 Wyre Hill are two houses built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof, featuring a central stack. The buildings are two storeys high and have two windows each, which are 3-light casements. The left window has a soldier course above it, while the right window is set under a stone wedge lintel. On the ground floor, there is a shallow canted oriel window to the left and a 3-light casement to the right, also under a stone wedge lintel. The entrances are located at the corners; number 59 on the left has a wooden architrave and a late 20th-century glazed door, while number 60 on the right features a wooden architrave and a 19th-century ledged and boarded door, both with stone wedge lintels. These houses are included for their group value.
