Description

41-43 West Street are two houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from regularly coursed lias stone and topped with a slate roof. Originally, each house was designed as a single-unit plan. The buildings stand two storeys high, featuring a one-window range at the first floor and three windows at the ground floor, which are casements set under wooden lintels. The window on the ground floor to the right has leaded casements. There are central brick stacks, and a 19th-century entrance and lean-to are located at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
