Description
26 Park Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with 19th-century alterations and a restoration in the 20th century. It features regular coursed lias stone and has a thatch and pantile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan and is a single storey with an attic. The entrance front has a three-window range of 20th-century casements set under wooden lintels. The entrance is located to the right of the center and also has a wooden lintel. There is a large external brick and stone chimney stack at one end, which is partially enclosed by the roof. To the left, there is a 19th-century brick lean-to, and there are 19th-century extensions to the rear. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have an open fireplace with a bressumer and chamfered ceiling beams. The house is included for its group value.
