Description
London End Farm is a farmhouse and attached cottage that has been converted into a single dwelling. It dates from the late 17th century, late 18th century, and 19th century. The exterior features squared coursed lias that has been rendered, topped with a slate and thatch roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan, and the building stands three storeys high with a three-window range of 19th-century casements beneath wood lintels. A central 20th-century door leads to a conservatory on the left. There are brick stacks at both ends of the structure. To the right, there is an early 19th-century one-unit, two-storey extension, while to the left is a late 17th-century single-storey extension with an attic and thatch roof. This extension has been partially reconstructed in the 20th century. Inside, the farmhouse features an open fireplace and stop-chamfered spine beams.
