Description

The Mill House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is built of regularly coursed lias stone and has a slate roof. The building has a T-shaped plan and stands three storeys tall. The front elevation features a two-window range, with a cross wing that projects forward to the left. The first and second-floor windows are casements with leaded lights, set under wooden lintels; some of these windows have limestone surrounds. At the ground floor, there are 19th-century French windows, also with wooden lintels and limestone surrounds. The house has ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at the ridge and ends. There are 19th and 20th-century extensions to the left and rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
