Description

Dairy Farmhouse is a late 18th-century building that has been converted from a farmhouse to a house. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone and features a slate roof. The layout follows a three-unit plan and the building is two storeys high, with a three-window range of sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor windows are tripartite and are set under flat arches. There are brick stacks located at the ridge and at the ends of the building. A 20th-century door is located at the rear, and there is a late 18th-century wing at the back of the house. Inside, there is a late 18th-century staircase, panelled shutters on the ground-floor windows, and arched recesses in both the Dining Room and Drawing Room.
