Description
82 and 84 Manor Road are two houses built in 1822, as indicated by the datestone I.G. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and dressings, topped with a gabled concrete tile roof and featuring brick end stacks. The buildings have a 4-unit plan, are two storeys high with an attic, and present a three-window range. Wrought-iron brackets support flat hoods over a 20th-century door on the left and a 19th-century six-panelled door on the right. There are flat stone arches above 6-pane sash windows, and a timber lintel over a 20th-century first-floor window located centrally above the doors. A fire insurance plaque is positioned to the left. The houses also feature flat-roofed 20th-century dormers. Inside No. 84, there are early 19th-century four-panelled doors and moulded architraves.
