Description

This is an 18th-century house that was significantly refronted and remodelled in the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed limestone with ashlar dressings, and has a gabled concrete tile roof with brick end stacks. The building follows a two-unit plan and is two storeys high, with an attic, featuring a two-window front. A flat stone arch supported by wrought-iron brackets provides a hood over the central 6-panelled front door. There are stone lintels over the 6-pane sash windows, and two gabled dormers are present in the roof. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
