Description

This is a house, dating from circa 1820, and incorporating earlier fabric from the middle of the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, topped with a gabled concrete tile roof and brick end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and is arranged over three storeys, with a symmetrical two-window front. A timber lintel supported by wrought-iron brackets provides a flat hood over the six-panelled front door. The windows are eight-pane sashes, some set under flat and cambered stone arches, and others within mid-18th century triple-keyed stone architraves. The interior has not been inspected, but is believed to contain features of interest.
