Description
This is a house located at 19 Manor Road in Old Woodstock, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, which is colourwashed on the front, and features a gabled concrete tile roof that is hipped with a gablet on the right side. There is a brick stack at the end of the house. The building has a two-unit plan and is two storeys high with a two-window range.
The central door is from the 20th century and has timber lintels above it. There is a flat stone arch over a two-light casement window with glazing bars, and on the first floor, there is a mid to late 19th-century two-light casement window with iron opening lights. A fire insurance plaque is also present.
Inside, the left room features chamfered beams and a mid-18th-century fireplace with a moulded mantel, along with a splat balustrade over a cupboard. The room on the right has an 18th-century two-panelled door leading to a cupboard beneath a quarter-turn staircase.
