GV II

Row of 3 cottages. C17/C18, reconstructed early C20. Coursed squared ironstone and coursed rubble, fish-scale tile roof, brick stacks. L-plan. No.18, facing street, one storey and attic, 2 bays, has central doorway with wood lintel and 4-panel door. 3-light casement windows on either side. Gabled half dormers with 2-light casements. Right gable end coped with kneelers. Stone plaque on right side inscribed "burnt down 1905". Blenheim Cottage at rear, 2 storeys, 2 bays has entrance on right side of No.18 with wood lintel and plank door. 3-light stone mullioned window with moulded frame and no hood, to right. Similar 2-light windows in right bay and on first-floor. No.14, to right, 2 storeys, 2 bays, has entrance to left of centre with wood lintel and 4-panel part-glazed door. 2-light windows on either side with wood lintels. Similar windows on first floor. All windows have C20 wooden casements. Interior not inspected. Damaged by the fire along east side of High Street in 1905. Included for group value.
