Description
Coton Lodge Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1828. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof with a double-depth plan. The building stands two storeys high and features a two-window range. The central entrance has a part-glazed door with panelled reveals and a moulded wood surround topped with a pediment. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are set beneath flat rusticated stucco arches. The gabled roof is adorned with ashlar parapets and kneelers, along with brick stacks at each end. There are single-storey extensions on both the left and right sides, each with sash windows that also have glazing bars, and these extensions feature parapets with ball finials at their ends. The farmhouse is reputed to have a datestone from around 1828. The interior has not been inspected.
