Description
Highfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1820. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped slate roof with stone sills. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century door set in a plain surround with an overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the upper floor, there are three glazing bar sashes; the central sash has a rubbed brick head, while the others have 20th-century lintels. The left gable has a single glazing bar sash on each floor. To the right, there is a 19th-century one-storey, two-bay extension made of gault brick with a slate roof. The left side features a 20th-century French window, and to the right, there is a close boarded door. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension at the rear.
