Description
Welton Lodge Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick, featuring some flared headers. It has a concrete tile roof with brick ridges and end stacks. The building is three stories tall and has a symmetrical front with five windows. There are doors located to the center left and center right; the left door is a six-panelled type with a blocked overlight, while the right door is a six-panelled, two-leaved design with glazed top panels and an overlight featuring a geometrical pattern. The doorcases are reeded wooden with panelled reveals. Above the left doorcase are two blind windows, and above the right doorcase are a 16-pane sash and a 12-pane sash. The windows are tripartite sashes with glazing bars, all unhorned, except for a French window on the ground floor left and a blind window on the second floor above. The farmhouse has a rubblestone and brick plinth, brick quoins, a first-floor band, and nogged brick eaves. The ground and first floors have gauged brick lintels with stone keyblocks, while the second floor features wooden lintels and stone sills. The rear is made of ironstone. Inside, there is a staircase with stick balusters.
